Blocks

I painted approximately 50 2x2 and some odd 2x4 blocks with Peter. These blocks are to be used by the fringe festival around Edmonton. Each block had been painted with a mix of spray paints and acrylic house paints after being primed. The flowing gestural shapes play with colour and contrast, as well as the idea that no matter which blocks are put together, they all belong and still stand out as individual pieces.
